Presales Manager - Europe, London
Posted
This is an early and important hire for the company in Europe. You'll take enterprise logistics problems and build a clear, compelling case for why the company solves them – running discovery, designing solutions, and working alongside sales to get deals over the line.
Three things define the job:
- Solution Design – take what a client is struggling with and map it to what the company does.
- Engagement Management – own the presales process end-to-end, from first conversation to handover.
- Market Development – know the European competitive landscape well enough to sharpen how we position and pitch the right person has done this before in logistics tech or supply chain consulting, knows what good enterprise presales looks like, and wants to do it in a market that's genuinely moving.
- Day-To-Day Presales: Run discovery, scoping, and solution presentation across European enterprise accounts. Keep sales, product, and technical teams pointed in the same direction through a deal. Work with Account Executives on strategy, qualification, and close planning
- Client Work: Get deep enough into a client's operations to design something that actually fits. Deliver demos and executive presentations - to logistics directors and CFOs alike. Use the company's simulation tools to model client data and show the impact on cost, distance, SLA, and emissions in numbers.
- Commercial Output: Write proposals and RFP responses that are tight, accurate, and make the case clearly. Build ROI frameworks that hold up with both operation and finance team.
- Market and Intelligence: Feed what you're hearing from the market back to product and marketing in a structured way.
- Building the Function: Track the presales metrics that matter and report honestly on pipeline and conversion. Build the toolkit, playbooks, battlecards, demo assets, that the broader team will use as we grow.
- 5+ years in presales or solutions consulting in logistics tech, supply chain SaaS, or SCM consulting.
- Real experience with European enterprise accounts and the buying cycles that come with them.
- Enough logistics and supply chain depth to challenge a client's thinking, not just reflect it back.
- Strong written output — proposals and RFPs that are accurate and make the case clearly.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with scenario modelling; enough API awareness to talk sensibly with enterprise IT
