Presales Network & Security (Solution Architect)
Summary
Presales solution architect who designs network and security infrastructure solutions (LAN/WAN/WLAN, firewalls, data center) for customers, prepares proposals, BoMs and network diagrams, supports tenders/RFPs and PoCs, and presents technically alongside sales while working with vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business and technical requirements.
- Design infrastructure solutions including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Network Security, and Data Center.
- Prepare technical documents such as proposals, Bill of Materials (BoM), and network architecture diagrams.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers in collaboration with the sales team.
- Work closely with technology partners and vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sangfor, MikroTik, Juniper, etc.).
- Support tender and procurement processes, including document analysis and responses to RFP/RFQ.
- Provide technical input for pricing and commercial proposals.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) or product demonstrations when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience in a relevant role.
- Fresh graduates are welcome. Internship experience is a plus, with strong technical knowledge in networking and/or security.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (IP Addressing, Routing, Switching, Wireless, TCP/IP).
- Experience or knowledge in Network Security solutions such as Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Endpoint Security, or related security technologies.
- Familiar with security products such as Fortinet (FortiGate), Palo Alto Networks, Sangfor, Check Point, Cisco Security, Sophos, or similar vendors is a plus.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and presentations.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with customers.
