Presales / System Engineer (ประจำเชียงใหม่)
About the role
System Engineer / System Administrator role within the System Integration and Managed Services department at Aware's Chiang Mai office. The position involves designing and proposing end-to-end IT solutions, preparing technical documentation, collaborating on IT projects, and providing technical support to clients.
Key responsibilities
Design and propose end-to-end IT solutions, including preparing detailed equipment and bill of materials (BOM)
Prepare technical documents and present IT solutions to B2B clients, including private companies, organizations, and government agencies, in a presales capacity
Collaborate with internal teams on IT projects and perform system implementation, including installation and configuration of IT infrastructure such as servers, storage, networking, and related systems
Prepare technical documentation and project reports summarizing implementation work and deliverables for clients
Conduct IT system training and knowledge transfer sessions related to completed projects
Provide technical advice, consultation, and post-implementation support to clients
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in IT, ICT, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related fields
2 - 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or hold the position of System Engineering or System Administrative
Knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure systems in the form of On-Premise system, both Physical and Virtualize System (VMware, Hyper-V or others)
Knowledge and understanding of basic network systems TCP/IP, Switching, VLAN, IT Standard Protocol
Able to design systems/make solutions for IT Infrastructure systems (Server, Storage, Operating System, Network) to meet the needs of clients
Able to present IT Solutions that have been designed to meet the needs of clients
Experience in installing, using, and maintaining Windows Servers operating systems used for Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/File-Share System
Experience in installing, using, and maintaining software used for backup and DR systems, security protection systems for the IT systems, Mail Server / File Server system of the organization/company
Able to work as a team and overtime (sometimes)
Able to drive a car and have a driver's license
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or other cloud providers is an advantage.
Fluent in Thai with good command in English
