Preschool Aide/Instructional Aide

St. Anne Catholic School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic full-time Preschool Aide to join our school community. The Preschool Aide will work closely with classroom teachers to support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development while helping to maintain a positive, nurturing learning environment rooted in Catholic values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth of preschool students.
• Help implement daily classroom activities and instructional lessons under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Provide individual and small-group support to students as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, lunch, and other school functions.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintenance of a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Support positive student behavior through encouragement, guidance, and consistent reinforcement of classroom expectations.
• Foster positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and families.
• Demonstrate professionalism and actively support the mission, values, and teachings of St. Anne Catholic School and the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with young children required
• Experience in a preschool or educational setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Position Schedule
Monday through Friday
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
