We're hiring Part-Time Preschool Assistants.

This is a great job for college students, substitute teachers, stay-at-home parents, paraprofessionals, or retirees.

Must have firsthand experience (professionally or personally) providing support or direct care for individuals with Special Needs.

Job Description:

• Aid a student with a disability - helping them learn, socialize, play, do crafts.
• The other students are neurotypical. (They don’t have disabilities.)
• Classes have a Teacher and TA. Your focus is supporting one child 1:1

Where:

• Park District Pre-Schools in Naperville, Glen Ellyn and Wheaton.

Hours/Schedule:

• Weekday Mornings and Afternoons
• Each student has their own unique schedule.
• A) Mondays & Wednesdays 9:15-11:30
• B) Tuesday & Thursday mornings (times TBA)
• C) Monday through Thursdays 12:20-3:05
• Ideal candidate is available weekly Mon-Thurs 9a-3p. [Otherwise, it’s okay if you’re only free in the mornings on Mon/Wed or on Tue/Thurs; or just afternoons Mon-Thurs.]
• Depending on your availability and what you’re assigned, you could work 5 hours a week; or up to 11 hours weekly.
• From November to December 17th.
• You’ll have the option to continue in the next semester (January – May).
• OFF on holidays, breaks, cancellations.
