Preschool Assistant Teacher (Central)

About the Role
We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Assistant Teacher to support the main teacher in providing a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role is suited for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and enjoy supporting their learning and development.
Summary
Salary: $16/hr (No CPF Contribution)
Working Days: Monday to Friday, from 9 November to 30 November. Candidates are also required to work a half-day on Saturday, 21 November.
Working Time: Rotating shift
Location: Central area
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the main teacher in preparing and conducting age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.
Support children's daily routines, including mealtimes, hygiene, nap times and transitions between activities.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
Prepare teaching materials, learning resources and classroom setups for daily lessons.
Encourage children's participation in creative, interactive and play-based learning activities.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe classroom environment while working closely with fellow teachers to support children's overall development.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FCECCE)
- Have a passion for children
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
