Preschool Cook / Cleaner (Part-Time)

• Prepare breakfast for children and deliver it to classrooms.

• Fill and distribute classroom drinking-water jugs.

• Wash, dry and properly store breakfast dishes and utensils.

• Cut and portion fruit and deliver it to classrooms.

• Prepare children’s plates, cutlery and lunch tubs for distribution.

• Prepare simple lunches for teachers; children’s lunches are catered.

• Portion and distribute catered lunches to the classrooms.

• Coordinate weekly grocery orders for children and teachers.

• Clean and sanitise the kitchen, work surfaces and equipment; follow food safety procedures

Job Requirements:

• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate (formerly Basic Food Hygiene).

• Experience in preschool or institutional kitchen operations preferred.

• Able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 12:00 noon (25 hours per week).

• Comfortable with prolonged standing and reasonable lifting of kitchen supplies.

• Able to work independently, manage time and cooperate with teaching staff.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 12:00 noon
