Position Details

• Position: Special Education Paraeducator

• Schedule: 17.5 hours, 180 days per year

• Salary: $18.20 per hour (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement)

• No medical or dental benefits

• Paid Leave applies

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students receiving special education services.

• Be collaborative, flexible, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Have completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an accredited institution of higher education; or

• Hold an associate degree (or higher); or

• Successfully pass the ParaPathways Assessment
