Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood, NJ
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is hiring a Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
We're looking for a creative, dependable educator who enjoys bringing learning to life through hands-on activities and creating a classroom where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.
What You'll Do
- Plan and support engaging daily Preschool classroom activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Encourage early literacy, math, science, language, and social-emotional development
- Create hands-on learning experiences through art, music, movement, and purposeful play
- Support kindergarten readiness, independence, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and use positive behavior guidance
- Observe developmental milestones and maintain classroom documentation
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional preschool, daycare, or early childhood education experience preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Understanding of preschool development and age-appropriate learning
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Dependable, creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
