Preservation of the Force and Family (Program Manager)
About the Position: You will serve as the Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAF) Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) Program Manager, providing oversight, planning, coordination, evaluation, and implementation of resiliency programs such as physical, psychological, spiritual, cognitive, and/or social/family performance initiatives.
Serve as the primary civilian advisor to the SOCAF Commander concerning the Preservation of Force and Family (POTFF) Program.
Work with US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to determine activities and services to be offered, initiating new programs, and modifying or terminating existing programs by assessing the effectiveness of existing programs.
Responsible for applying complex legislative policy and regulatory decisions in the development and formulation of program plans, policy, objectives, and guidelines designed to promote quality services throughout the command.
Analyze the needs of Special Operation Forces (SOF) personnel assigned to SOCAF and subordinate commands and creates program proposals to address identified requirements.
Manage working groups, monitors data collection tools, analyze findings, and prepare reports, staff packages, point papers, briefings, and program summaries as required to support the POTFF program.
Develop responses to requests for information from SOCOM, service and congressional staff, and other senior government entities.
