Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift

Specific Role:

Press brake machine operation plays a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the performance and utilization of their respective machines.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Execute daily production schedules while ensuring all finished products meet specified quality standards
  • Maintain organization of manufacturing orders (MOs), including transferring finished work to pallets and properly labeling parts
  • Maintain accurate job and production status in OSEON
  • Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of potential hazards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or fabrication preferred
  • 1+ years of experience operating press brake machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges)
  • Familiarity with production tracking systems (e.g., OSEON or similar ERP/MRP systems) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical and Safety Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly
  • Stand, walk, and move for an entire shift
  • Always use applicable PPE
  • Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling materials
