Carton Division of JRCI is seeking an OFFSET PRESS OPERATOR for 3rd shift.

The Offset Press Operator is responsible for overseeing the press and press crew, including the Assistant Pressman and Feeder Operator, while ensuring print quality, production efficiency, and overall press maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-color printing presses.

• Monitor print quality, color accuracy, and production standards.

• Perform routine press maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.

• Understand inks, coatings, paper types, and printing processes.

• Lead and coordinate press crew members.

• Train and assist other pressroom employees.

• Work with supervisors and quality control to improve production and resolve issues.

• Help reduce waste, improve efficiency, and meet production deadlines.

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience operating printing presses, preferably multi-color presses.

• Strong understanding of printing processes and press operations.

• Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

• Basic math and reading skills.

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. regularly.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

• Good color perception.

• Ability to operate a hand truck or pallet jack.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance.

Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.

Position located at JRCI- Carton Division, 10911 Granite St., Charlotte, NC 28273 (off Westinghouse Blvd.)
