Join our team as a Press Operator - Jet/Cheetah on 2nd shift. Hours are Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm with overtime as needed.
The Press Operator is responsible for set-up, operation, and troubleshooting printing press equipment to job specifications in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing presses according to safety, quality, and production guidelines.
- Read instructions from job tickets and set up presses based on instructions.
- Match and maintain colors to samples and/or PMS standards.
- Perform advanced level of preventative, emergency, and scheduled maintenance and repairs to the equipment as needed.
- Proofreading products to ensure copy is correct.
- Periodically washing cylinders and blankets with solvent.
- Maintain production records and equipment logs accurately and timely.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years printing or manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
- Accurate skills in math, and the ability to read a ruler.
- Attention to precision and detail.
