Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance services on company vehicles, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures all equipment is properly lubricated, fluids are maintained at correct levels, and maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently to support operational reliability and minimize downtime.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform routine oil changes, lubrication services, and fluid checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or mechanical issues and report findings to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper disposal of used oils, filters, and fluids in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and tools.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
• Support mechanics and maintenance personnel as needed.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Communicate equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly to management.
