Prevention Family Specialist (Erie County) (5416)

The goal of the Prevention Family Specialist is to preserve the family unit by providing supportive casework counseling in the home and empowering parents with the tools and resources they need to ensure their children's safety, well-being, and permanency. This role also provides advocacy to help ensure families receive quality services through our Stepping Stones Program in Erie County.

What is the Stepping Stones Program?

The Stepping Stones Program is an alternative-to-detention program that provides intensive crisis intervention and support to youth and families. The program's goal is to reduce the county's need to place youth in detention facilities by providing effective, community-based services.
