Pricing Architect
Summary
The Pricing Architect will lead end-to-end pricing engagements for B2B SaaS customers using the company's AI-native platform. This role involves designing pricing models, advising executive stakeholders, and collaborating with product teams to refine AI-driven pricing strategies.
About the Role
This is a senior, customer-facing pricing role at an early-stage AI-native pricing platform in the B2B SaaS space. You'll own pricing engagements end-to-end — from initial discovery through live pricing models and ongoing optimization — acting as the trusted advisor to operators and executives at each customer. The work you do directly shapes commercial outcomes and helps define how a repeatable Pricing Architect motion scales.
What You'll Do
Lead pricing engagements independently, from discovery workshops through go-live and continuous optimization.
Design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting structures, and monetization logic tailored to each customer's context.
Act as the trusted pricing advisor to C-level and cross-functional stakeholders, setting expectations and measuring impact.
Drive post-go-live value capture and identify expansion opportunities that convert into upsells.
Use the company's AI-powered pricing platform daily to solve real customer problems and deliver measurable results.
Provide continuous, specific product feedback to improve AI recommendations and influence product priorities.
Partner with product and engineering to sharpen the pricing engine and tooling.
Support rollout and change management, including onboarding sales teams to improve execution.
Capture and document learnings to help build a scalable, repeatable engagement model.
Participate in sales pitches and help advance deals with prospective customers.
What We're Looking For
5–7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management, with a background in Tier-1 strategy consulting or tech/SaaS pricing roles.
Deep expertise in segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methods.
Proven track record of owning multiple end-to-end pricing engagements from concept through execution.
Hands-on use of GenAI/LLM tools in day-to-day pricing work.
Proficiency with data analysis using spreadsheets and SQL to support pricing decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence executive and cross-functional audiences.
Experience coaching or mentoring others in pricing or related functions.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environment.
Professional fluency in English.
