Pricing Architect
Summary
The Pricing Architect will lead end-to-end pricing engagements for B2B SaaS clients using an AI-native platform. This role involves designing pricing models, conducting market research, and advising executive stakeholders while collaborating with product teams to refine the platform.
About the Role
This is a senior, customer-facing pricing role at an early-stage AI-native pricing platform for B2B SaaS companies. You'll own pricing engagements end-to-end — from discovery through live pricing models and ongoing optimization — acting as a trusted advisor to operator and executive stakeholders while also shaping the product itself.
What You'll Do
Lead pricing engagements independently, from initial discovery to live pricing and proposition models.
Run alignment workshops and market research, and design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and monetization logic tailored to each customer.
Drive post-go-live pricing optimization and continuous value capture as customers scale.
Serve as a trusted pricing advisor to C-level and cross-functional stakeholders.
Set expectations, align on value, and measure and prove commercial impact.
Identify expansion opportunities and convert them into upsells.
Use the AI-powered pricing platform daily to solve real customer problems and provide specific product feedback.
Partner with product and engineering to sharpen the pricing engine and tooling.
Support rollout, change management, and onboarding of sales teams to improve execution.
Document learnings to help build a scalable, repeatable Pricing Architect motion.
Participate in sales pitches and help identify and advance prospective deals.
What We're Looking For
5–7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management, ideally from Tier-1 strategy consulting or pricing/revenue roles in tech or SaaS.
Deep expertise in segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methodologies.
Proven track record owning multiple end-to-end pricing engagements from concept through execution.
Hands-on experience using GenAI/LLM tools in day-to-day pricing work.
Comfortable with data and analysis — strong proficiency in spreadsheets and SQL.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level and cross-functional audiences.
Experience coaching or mentoring others in pricing or related functions.
Thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments.
Professional fluency in English.
