Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
- Assess students' learning needs and customise lesson plans to maximise learning outcomes.
- Teach scientific concepts, practical applications, and scientific reasoning.
- Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for school assessments and examinations.
- Develop students' curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through interactive learning.
- Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and hands-on learning activities.
- Uphold ATOP Academy's teaching standards, values, and commitment to academic excellence.
Requirements
- GCE O-Level, GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Science, or a related field.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Primary Science syllabus and assessment requirements.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Responsible, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required.
