Prime Mover Driver (Pioneer | Up to $5,500)
Description
Job Responsibilities
Perform daily vehicle pre-checks and ensure roadworthiness before operations
Safely collect and deliver import/export containers in a timely manner
Verify container and seal numbers; report discrepancies with photo evidence, and/or any vehicle or cargo damage due to accident
Comply with PSA import/export trucking procedures and depot requirements
Ensure containers are in proper condition before acceptance or delivery
Use mobile app to update Container Trucking Requests (CTR) and job status
Maintain radio communication with traffic controllers at all times
Adhere to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and PPE standards
Practice good housekeeping and report any vehicle or container damage
Any other duties as per assigned by superior
Requirements
Reporting location: Pioneer area
Valid Class 4 or Class 5 driving license
Minimum 3 years experience as a Prime Mover / container driver
Familiar with PSA port operations, container yards/operations, and depot processes
Working hours may vary based on operational requirements
Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to follow operational procedures
Working Environment
On the road and at ports, depots, warehouses, and customer premises
Long driving hours; evening and weekend work required
