Principal AI Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 85,000 per year

• Knowledge of C++, Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, CUDA, TensorRT, Git, WSL, Docker, and Jira/Confluence
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• Computer Vision methodologies and algorithms
• MLOps
• Developing AI for use on edge computers
• Research and prototyping

• Work on high-throughput vision systems on NVIDIA Jetson hardware, including CUDA/TensorRT acceleration, multi-modal thermal and optical sensors, and robust real-time tracking
• Explore AI Assurance and AI Safety
• Deliver technical expertise on a variety of internal and external facing projects
• Support AI engineering activity across the design lifecycle
• Work with multidisciplinary teams
• Engage with customer representatives to identify opportunities
• Attend internal strategy meetings
• Guide junior engineers in project delivery
