PRINCIPAL ANALYSIS ENGINEER
Summary
Leads the analysis team in performing static and dynamic stress analysis using programs like Abaqus and LS-DYNA. Manages workloads, staff training, budgeting, and develops reports on failure modes and design solutions.
The Principal Analysis Engineer is responsible for leading and performing static and dynamic stress analysis on various products developed by the collective engineering team. The Principal Analysis Engineer is responsible for developing and/or reviewing reports detailing the failure modes of various products and recommended design solutions, as applicable, to reduce the risk of failure during qualification testing and/or product deployment. The Principal Analysis Engineer will utilize various analysis programs (Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA) and oversee the development of supplemental analysis tools as required. The Principal Analysis Engineer will manage all analysis work load and ensure analysis staff is adequately trained to support business needs. The Principal Analysis Engineer will assist in department budgeting of analysis software and assist in bids and proposals as required.
