The Role

Principal Architect, FDE Technical Governance: The Principal Architect provides technical leadership and architectural governance across the FDE organization. The role defines engineering standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, API standards, Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks, and cloud adoption practices while ensuring consistency, scalability, security, and interoperability across all solutions delivered by FDE teams.

Experience & Skills Required

· 10+ years in Software Engineering, Principal Architect, FDE Technical Governance: FDE & Tooling Standards - Enterprise architecture & infrastructure modernization strategy, technical governance & reference architecture design, Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible), API & integration standards, multi-domain platform design (Compute, Cloud, Network, Storage, Security), compliance alignment, and technical transformation leadership across FDE engineering teams.

AI & Automation:

· Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, LLM integration patterns, or GenAI tooling applied to security operations workflows.

Cloud & Engineering:

· Strong cloud-native engineering skills across AWS and/or GCP, including networking, IAM, serverless, and container platforms.

· Proficiency in IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment and configuration management.

· Scripting and automation proficiency in Python, Bash, or equivalent.

Education

· A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Data Engineering, or a related technical field is required, or equivalent professional experience.
