Technical Leadership & Design Delivery

Lead the Technical delivery of architectural design solutions across all project stages.
Establish and manage the technical design delivery strategy, programme, and outputs in collaboration with project leadership.
Ensure coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver coherent and compliant design information.
Take responsibility for design quality, technical accuracy, and level of detail across all deliverables.
Identify potential design risks/issues and lead the team in developing robust solutions and mitigation strategies.
Oversee production of technical drawings, models, reports, and presentation materials.
Lead the preparation of 2D and 3D visualisations, sketches, and presentations to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
Enhance team capability and maintain high technical competence standards.
Project & Programme Management
Collaborate with project lead to define project scope, programme, deliverables, and resource requirement

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage architectural projects and project teams, including resource planning and task allocation.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Drive a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage open communication and early identification of design issues.
  • Support staff development, training, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Qualified Architect (Chartered preferred).
  • 12+ years experience in the architectural/construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other BIM tools.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong expertise in UK construction methodologies and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical design delivery and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Experience delivering tender and construction stage packages.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
