Principal backend engineer on FactSet's core IBOR team, designing and maintaining high-throughput C#/.NET Core services and APIs for positions, transactions, and cash data. Day to day also includes building Python (Pandas/NumPy) data pipelines, working with MongoDB and MySQL, shaping architecture, reviewing code, and mentoring junior engineers.
FactSet Research Systems Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the core IBOR team. You will design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services and APIs in C#/.NET Core, enabling accurate positions, transactions, and cash data.
You will also develop data processing pipelines in Python with Pandas/NumPy, participate in architectural decisions, review code, work with MongoDB and MySQL, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with product goals.
