The Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) Engineering & Architecture Group (EAG) is a global consulting and engineering organization that supports our most complex and leading-edge customer engagements.
Responsibilities
• Collaborates in the pre-sale process with internal stakeholders (e.g., Solution Architect, Pursuit Lead, Consulting Account Executive) by providing technical guidance, translating business requirements, or identifying possible existing or new solution offerings to help shape the deal and influence budgetary estimates.
• Contributes to Solution Review Meeting (SRM), develops proposals or statement of work (SOW), and directly engages customers and internal teams to influence closing the deal.
• Provides input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery to Resource Deployment, Technical Delivery Managers (TDMs), and/or Project Managers.
• Follows the capacity process outlined by Resource, Insights, Capacity, and Capability (RICC) team and maintains tools with up-to-date skills and availability.
• Leads meetings with customers/partners to identify business needs and create a vision, mapping requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions.
• Participates in project planning, assesses technical and business risks, develops mitigations, manages schedules, and generates Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Provides oversight and leadership on work streams or a partner team to implement solutions, following Industry Solutions processes.
• Manages complex escalations, analyzes situations, and coordinates resources to resolve issues.
• Proactively manages executive-level customer/partner/stakeholder relationships to improve satisfaction and shares lessons learned with the consultant community.
• Acts as an ambassador in the consumption and creation of intellectual property (IP), reviewing and curating content for reuse.
• Drives opportunities to expand or accelerate adoption and consumption of cloud and Microsoft technologies, articulating value propositions for strategic products and services.
• Learns new technologies and obtains relevant accreditations/certifications as advised by domain leadership.
• Leads or participates in technical communities and conducts training sessions to evangelize technology and offerings.
• Mentors team members and acts as a technical advisor for stakeholders.
• Completes operational tasks, ensures compliance with Microsoft policies, and guides team members on operational readiness.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field AND 6+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
• 12+ years of large and complex Data Platform and Cloud Data Analytics Solution design and delivery experience, demonstrating exceptional data platform and cloud data analytics technical and domain expertise, encompassing advanced knowledge and skills to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge Cloud Data & AI Platform solutions OR equivalent experience.
Preferred
• 12+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
• Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Data, AI).
• Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
• Fluent Korean and English in speaking and writing.
