We are looking for an experienced Principal Data Analytics & Insights Architect to join our growing team and lead the design and delivery of advanced data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions across the Microsoft technology stack.
Reporting to the COO, this is a senior leadership role combining technical excellence, strategic thinking and commercial awareness. As a recognised authority in data and analytics architecture, you will help organisations unlock the value of their data through modern analytics, business intelligence, AI-enabled solutions and insight-driven decision making.
Working across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, you will shape scalable, secure and future-ready architectures that support customer transformation programmes and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with clients, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to define solution strategy, provide architectural leadership and ensure the successful delivery of complex data and analytics engagements.
The role plays a key part in strengthening our pre-sales capability, supporting business growth through solution-led engagements, workshops, demonstrations and tender responses. Alongside customer-facing consultancy work, you will contribute to the development of architecture standards, reusable assets and product innovation, while mentoring colleagues and helping to grow the organisation's data and analytics capability.
As a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams, you will combine deep technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to translate complex business challenges into practical, value-driven solutions in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced and commercially minded technology leader with deep expertise in Microsoft's data, analytics and AI ecosystem. You will have a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Storage and Power BI, alongside a strong understanding of modern data architecture principles including lakehouse architectures, data mesh, ELT/ETL processes, Master Data Management and dimensional modelling.
You will possess working knowledge of AI technologies and architectures, including machine learning, generative AI, cognitive services and responsible AI practices, together with a solid understanding of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform integration patterns. Experience working within Agile delivery environments, supported by knowledge of DevOps, release management and production support practices, will be essential.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator who can build relationships at all levels of an organisation, from technical teams through to executive stakeholders. You will be confident leading workshops, presenting complex solutions, shaping pre-sales opportunities and translating business requirements into insight-led solutions. A passion for mentoring others, driving technical excellence and remaining at the forefront of emerging technologies will be key to success in the role. Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays, is required.
