Principal Electronics and Software Engineer
Summary
Leads a team designing and developing HealthTech devices from concept to production, combining embedded software (C/C++) with hands-on hardware work, including prototyping, testing, and system architecture.
Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive commercial experience designing, prototyping, and testing electronic circuits and systems, and writing embedded software in C/C++.
- A hands-on approach to technical work, including soldering new boards and diagnosing hardware faults with laboratory equipment.
- A strong academic background with a first or 2:1 degree in engineering from a leading university (UK top 10 or equivalent), plus excellent supporting A-level grades.
- Further post-graduate education would be well received.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without time limits or sponsorship.
- Lead a team of talented engineers developing innovative HealthTech devices from initial concept through to production.
- Provide technical leadership and see the full picture across system architecture and hands-on testing.
- Develop cutting-edge products that meet business and regulatory requirements while delivering innovative solutions.
