Summary
Third-line network support engineer at Virgin Media O2 owning Fixed Access and Wholesale Access platforms (XGS-PON, DOCSIS/CCAP, EVPN, NNIs), troubleshooting carrier-grade Juniper, Nokia, Cisco and Commscope infrastructure using ISIS, MPLS/SR-MPLS and IPv6, while mentoring junior engineers. Hybrid UK role (8+ days/month onsite) across several offices.
Salary: £29,000 - 69,000 per year Requirements: Extensive experience supporting carrier- or enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including Juniper, Nokia, Cisco and Commscope. Fundamental understanding of ISIS, MPLS, SR MPLS, EVPN and IPv6. In-depth knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching and the OSI model.
