Principal Full-Stack Engineer

Design and build complex enterprise product surfaces and platform layers with technical leadership across the full stack.

Quix is looking for a Principal Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of complex product and platform surfaces that enterprise clients depend on. This role is for someone who moves between front-end architecture, back-end service design, and API contracts with equal facility — and who can lead engineering decisions that shape delivery across multiple teams.

Work is calm, technical, and delivery-focused. You’ll help teams make durable decisions in enterprise environments where reliability and operational clarity matter.

What You’ll Do

• Define and maintain full-stack architecture across enterprise-facing product surfaces and platform APIs.
• Lead TypeScript and React front-end design alongside Node.js or .NET back-end service layers.
• Establish API contracts, data models, and integration patterns that support multi-system enterprise workflows.
• Guide engineering decisions on maintainability, performance, reliability, and security tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with solutions architects, cloud engineers, and delivery leads to align implementation paths.
• Review code across the stack and mentor senior engineers on technical judgment and system design.
• Drive production readiness: testing strategy, observability integration, deployment quality, and operational handoff.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrable experience designing and shipping production-grade full-stack systems in enterprise contexts.
• Deep TypeScript and React proficiency alongside strong back-end service design in Node.js, .NET, Python, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, event-driven patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience leading technical decisions across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate at both architectural and implementation levels within the same delivery cycle.
• Clear technical communication and documentation discipline.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP deployment environments.
• Background in regulated industries: financial services, insurance, telecom, or public sector.
• Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
