Requirements

  • Experience within a financial services or Fintech environment
  • Strong Java development skills, including multi-threading and concurrency
  • Experience with Spring Boot and microservices environments
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs
  • Good understanding of AWS
  • Thorough understanding of software development and Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Design Patterns
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborative approach with strong problem-solving and client interaction skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects, often long-term technical transformations
  • Design, develop, and deliver a range of projects for our clients, mainly within the financial services sector
  • Focus on migrating legacy systems to AWS and introducing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
  • Work within a collaborative team focused on engineering best practice and continuous improvement of client systems
  • Provide technical expertise, leadership, and business/client-facing support
  • Operate in a hybrid setup from our London City office and client sites
