Principal Java/Kafka Software Engineer
Summary
Leads integration of a Loan Approval System with other services, specializing in Kafka (Connect, Streaming, Schema Registry) and Oracle tools (Golden Gate, ODI) to ensure regulatory compliance and scalability in a cross-functional team.
Job Summary: We are looking for Principal Integration Engineer who would be responsible for integrating Loan Approval System to other services across the rich ecosystem. We work closely with other experts to build evolving requirements into the application, to stay accurate and regulatory compliant. You will join a cross-functional squad and work with colleagues in Dublin, Amsterdam, Manila and further afield.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent Knowledge on Kafka Connect, Schema Registry.
- Excellent Knowledge on Kafka Streaming,
- Working knowledge on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Working knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate.
- Domain knowledge on wholesale Lending Business is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle.
- Knowledge in SRE/Tooling/Monitoring/Alerting, like Grafana and Prometheus.io.
- Collaborate with your team to understand business requirements and together translate them into the solution.
- Search and propose solutions using the newest technologies.
- Help your team grow and think of ways to make solutions scalable and future-proof.
- You continuously improve your skills to adapt to new situations, and always deliver the highest quality results.
- You have a pro-active attitude; you speak up about your ideas and like working with a team.
Basic Qualifications:
- B. Tech Degree.
- Kafka Connect, Schema Registry experience.
- Kafka Streaming, Lending Business.
- Observability experience (Grafana, Kibana, Elastic)
- Oracle Golden Gate.
