Volmatica is hiring a skilled and experienced Principal Java Software Engineer to lead our development team, drive technical excellence, and deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of developers.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
- Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices across multiple projects.
- Work extensively with Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, and multi-threading.
- Design and implement robust and scalable software architectures.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Monitor team performance, project progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Minimum 4 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong command of Java fundamentals and Spring Boot.
- Experience with the MERN or MEAN stack (preferred).
- Design scalable and resilient microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with multi-threading, JPA, SQL, and database optimization.
- Develop secure applications using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT , and other security standards.
- Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms .
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and JVM concepts.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple development teams.
- Ability to take ownership of technical decisions and deliver projects within deadlines.
