What you will be working on:

As a DevOps Consultant, you will play a key role in strengthening the architecture, automation, and operational practices that support application development and deployment across cloud and on‑premise environments. You will lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automated security checks, and observability monitoring to improve deployment reliability, system resilience and operational readiness. Working closely with product, infrastructure, security, and business teams, you will help ensure the Board’s digital services remain secure, reliable and future‑ready, contributing to our broader mission of cyber resilience.

  • Architect and manage cloud and on‑premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices, including automated provisioning, configuration management and standardised deployment across environments.
  • Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, security scanning and deployment across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive DevSecOps adoption by embedding security controls, quality gates and release governance into delivery pipelines.
  • Lead technical operations and release readiness, including change management, incident/problem management, capacity planning, configuration management and disaster recovery.
  • Partner with product, infrastructure and security teams to address deployment challenges, technical and operational constraints.
  • Strengthen monitoring and observability capabilities through metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards to support proactive system operations.
  • Engage stakeholders and senior management on DevOps roadmaps, infrastructure strategy, operational risks and implementation progress.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on DevOps tooling, automation, cloud adoption, system resilience and operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

  • Deep experience in solutioning and implementing backend systems and application infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record in managing the end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production release.
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying backend systems on cloud platforms such as GCC, Azure or AWS, including hybrid cloud integration.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, Agile delivery practices and modern engineering ways of working, with experience managing DevSecOps toolchains.
  • Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated security checks and observability, using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, SonarQube, AppScan, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Monitor, Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Deep experience in technical operations management, including production support, incident/problem management, root cause analysis, operational risk, resilience planning and disaster recovery.
  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery teams and supervise DevOps consultants or engineers, including providing technical direction, mentoring, delivery oversight and driving team performance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical matters for non‑technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Analytical, self‑driven and collaborative, with the ability to operate at an enterprise level, manage competing priorities and drive scalable, well‑governed technology solutions.
  • Ability to support emergency response and critical system updates outside office hours or on weekends when required.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences. Position is on a 2‑year full‑time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
