Principal Mechanical Engineer

Responsibility:

Design Mechanical Items and provide documentation following the company process.

Main Duties:

Perform studies based on specification and provide technical proposals.

3D Design, Validation, Verification and documentation of mechanical parts.

Performs mechanical design and document reviews.

Provide support and solution to qualification.

Provides support for system integration.

Provide support for qualification campaign.

Provide specification to sub-contractors

Be the referent and provide the technical expertise for the mechanical development reviews.

Make sure that mechanical developments are produced on time and with required quality

Monitor development standards, analyze risks, implement quality control programs and minimize error rates

Evaluate, select and manage mechanical development partners and contractors

Rights and Signature Authority:

Provide documentation with status Prepared

Milestone reviews signature as Mechanical Design Engineer

Technical document Approval.

Education/Experience:

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering

Special Qualifications:

Industrialization process

Qualification test bench design

Thermal simulation

Vibration simulation
