Principal Mobile Engineer - iOS and Connected Devices
Summary
Fieldpiece Instruments, an HVACR tools maker, is hiring its first in-house mobile engineer to own the architecture of its native iOS apps (with some Android involvement), building hands-on features that connect Bluetooth/BLE-enabled tools, sensors, and cloud services. Hybrid role based in Park City, UT.
Build the mobile technology connecting real-world tools, data, and the technicians who rely on them.
Fieldpiece is looking for an experienced, hands-on Principal Mobile Engineer to help shape the future of our connected products. As our first in-house mobile engineering hire, you'll take technical ownership of our mobile applications, drive architectural decisions, and develop innovative solutions connecting physical tools, mobile technology, and cloud services.
This isn't a role where you'll just oversee development. You'll write code, solve complex engineering challenges, and help establish the technical foundation for our growing mobile engineering capabilities.
You'll collaborate with established external development partners and internal engineering teams across embedded systems, cloud, product, and UX. If you love building great software, working with connected devices, and having the freedom to influence technical direction, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
