Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale platforms supporting cloud transformation, application modernisation, and deployment of web-based applications.
- Define architectural strategies and principles, aligning platforms with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with executive and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical information to support strategic decision-making.
- Shape and implement technology standards, blueprints, and best practices across agile teams.
- Mentor and develop architecture and engineering colleagues, fostering talent and supporting career growth.
- Actively contribute to thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and the advancement of platform capabilities.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes (cloud migration, modernisation, platform engineering, and enterprise deployments).
- Strong background in making and executing technology decisions that drive positive business and customer outcomes.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, including executive and C-level leaders, with the ability to communicate technical insights clearly and persuasively.
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Background in managing, coaching, and developing technology professionals within teams or communities.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) to work on complex Public Sector programmes.
- Experience contributing to business development alongside account and sales teams.
- Track record of helping to recover and stabilise complex or challenging projects.
- Involvement in the creation and promotion of new products or services aligned with strategic objectives.
- Active participation in professional technology communities and sharing insights on industry trends.
- Previous experience in performance management, including setting objectives and leading performance reviews.
