NRI is seeking an experienced Principal Power Platform Engineer to support the design, secure enablement and implementation of Microsoft Power Platform within a highly regulated Australian enterprise environment.
The role will be responsible for helping establish a secure, enterprise-ready Power Platform capability across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse and Microsoft Copilot Studio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture and environment strategy

• Assess the current tenant, then lead the target architecture, environment strategy and Personal / Team / Enterprise zone model.
• Configure tenant and environment settings, Managed Environments, and Dev / Test / Production lifecycle and ALM.

Identity and access

• Design and implement least-privilege administration and segregation of duties, integrated with Entra ID, Conditional Access and PIM.
• Govern service principals, service accounts and other non-human identities for business-critical workloads.

Data protection and connectors

• Design and implement Power Platform DLP, connector governance and external-sharing controls.
• Ensure these complement, rather than duplicate, existing Microsoft Purview controls.

Copilot Studio

• Define the governance model for creating, publishing and sharing agents, including knowledge sources, actions and external models.
• Set the minimum security gate for early enablement, then enable an approved user cohort.

Assurance and handover

• Validate controls through functional and negative testing, capture evidence, and support independent review before each enablement wave.
• Maintain the as-built workbook and the exception and risk registers.
• Run workshops with Infrastructure, Security Operations and Enterprise Architecture, and deliver handover, knowledge transfer and limited hypercare

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on enterprise Power Platform administration: Admin Center, environments, Managed Environments, Dataverse security, DLP, connector governance and ALM.
• Microsoft Copilot Studio administration and governance.
• Entra ID: RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM, service principals and app registrations.
• Working knowledge of Purview DLP, sensitivity labels and Microsoft 365 audit.
• Least-privilege design, audit and monitoring, and change and risk management in security-sensitive environments.
• Leading technical workshops and producing clear documentation in a senior client-facing role.
• Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud Apps or Azure Key Vault.
• PL-600 (preferred), SC-300 or SC-100, PL-200 or PL-400.
