Principal Product Designer

You will shape and evolve the Design System including its strategy contribution model components patterns and documentation. You will partner with Design Product and Engineering to improve consistency accessibility and implementation quality. You will mentor senior designers provide structured feedback and raise the standard of design craft. You will define future state journeys interaction patterns and experience principles that guide product direction. You will explore AI enabled approaches to improve ideation workflows and team effectiveness. You will define and track design quality metrics to demonstrate impact and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Raise UX and UI quality across platforms through standards feedback audits and design quality rituals.
• Shape and evolve design system including its strategy contribution model components patterns and documentation.
• Partner with Design Product and Engineering to improve consistency accessibility and implementation quality.
• Mentor senior designers provide structured feedback and raise the standard of design craft.
• Define future state journeys interaction patterns and experience principles that guide product direction.
• Explore AI enabled approaches that improve ideation workflows and team effectiveness.
• Define and track design quality metrics to demonstrate impact and inform decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience and deep expertise in design systems
• Strong in craft with expertise in components patterns interaction design and documentation
• A trusted partner to Design Product and Engineering who can influence across teams
• A multiplier who mentors designers and helps scale the design system across product teams
• Ownership curiosity and adaptability and thrive in a fast paced regulated environment
