NewBe an early applicant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager, Capital Platform based in United States.

This is a senior, hands-on product leadership role focused on shaping complex platform capabilities that enable capital to move reliably, transparently, and at scale.
You will own strategy and execution for a major capital platform problem space with significant business and operational impact.
The role requires deep systems thinking and the ability to build configurable, reusable solutions for diverse financial partners without unnecessary fragmentation.
You will lead multi-quarter initiatives spanning product, engineering, finance, compliance, and other stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
As a Staff+ individual contributor, you will influence architecture, prioritization, sequencing, and the long-term evolution of critical platform systems.
You will use data, customer insight, and domain expertise to make high-conviction decisions while navigating significant ambiguity.
This opportunity is ideal for a technically fluent product leader who enjoys building enterprise-grade platforms from first principles and driving meaningful outcomes at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and execution for a major Capital Platform problem space with material business impact.
  • Lead complex, multi-quarter initiatives that span product, engineering, finance, compliance, and adjacent platform teams.
  • Define scalable and configurable platform capabilities that can support a diverse range of capital partners without excessive customization or fragmentation.
  • Partner closely with engineering leaders to shape product architecture, technical tradeoffs, sequencing, dependencies, and the long-term evolution of platform systems.
  • Influence adjacent product and vertical teams to ensure capital partner requirements are consistently addressed across products and workflows.
  • Use customer insights, data, business context, and domain expertise to prioritize investments and make high-confidence product decisions.
  • Build durable, enterprise-grade systems that meet demanding reliability, compliance, operational, and scalability requirements.
  • Drive platform capabilities supporting partner onboarding, configuration, capital execution workflows, reporting, insights, and evolving embedded or white-label solutions.
  • Navigate complex B2B and B2B2C workflows involving onboarding, configuration, financial operations, compliance, payments, reporting, and partner integrations.
  • Establish alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders without relying on formal authority, resolving ambiguity and driving initiatives toward measurable outcomes.
  • Help define new problem spaces from first principles, validate solutions, and evolve initial implementations into scalable platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with machine learning, data science, analytics, and other technical teams when advanced data capabilities can strengthen platform outcomes.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of product management experience or equivalent demonstrated scope and impact leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives.
    • Demonstrated Principal or Staff-level individual contributor experience, with the ability to influence strategy and execution across multiple teams.
    • Proven track record designing, building, and shipping platforms, infrastructure, or shared systems rather than focusing solely on standalone features.
    • Experience working with complex B2B or B2B2C workflows such as onboarding, configuration, payments, compliance, financial operations, or reporting.
    • Experience operating effectively in regulated, high-reliability environments where reliability, compliance, and operational excellence are critical.
    • Strong technical fluency and experience partnering closely with engineering teams on architecture, system design, technical tradeoffs, sequencing, and long-term platform strategy.
    • Ability to drive alignment, make difficult prioritization decisions, and deliver results across multiple stakeholders without formal authority.
    • Strong product judgment, analytical thinking, customer orientation, and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical, analytical, or business-related field.
    • Experience building enterprise-grade platforms or infrastructure products, particularly within financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries, is preferred.
    • Experience with zero-to-one product development, including defining problem spaces, validating solutions, and scaling early implementations, is a plus.
    • Familiarity with capital markets, lending, financial operations, data platforms, reporting systems, or analytics products is advantageous.
    • Experience working within high-growth or scaling technology organizations is preferred.
    • Prior collaboration with machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics teams is a plus.
    • Comfortable working remotely with teams operating across U.S. East and West Coast time zones.
    • Benefits:

      • U.S. remote position with a digital-first working environment.
      • Anticipated base salary range of $187,900–$260,000 USD.
      • Target bonus opportunities.
      • Annual equity grants with quarterly vesting.
      • 401(k) with company matching of $2 for every $1 contributed, up to $15,000 annually.
      • Employee Stock Purchase Plan with discounted stock purchase options for eligible U.S. employees.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
      • Wellness resources and Health Savings Account contributions for eligible plans.
      • Life insurance and disability coverage.
      • Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays.
