Position Summary
As an Product Manager at Kantata, you will be pivotal in driving the delivery of high-quality, impactful product features. In this role, you will primarily act as a Product Owner, taking ownership of product execution and delivery, working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact features and improvements. This role requires a proactive approach to product management, thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering customer and business value.
- Act as the Product Owner for an agile development team, managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and go-to-market teams to align on scope, execution, release timelines, and to drive adoption.
- Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog to ensure that the most valuable features are delivered first.
- Participate in and lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback and data insights to drive iteration and optimization of product experiences.
- Work closely with Senior Product Managers on roadmap planning, and product strategy, and identifying gaps and opportunities in our products and processes.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and communication of product changes across the organization.
- Monitor product performance and assist in defining KPIs and success metrics for product features.
- Bring a problem-solving mindset—testing new ideas, iterating on solutions, and pushing for continuous improvement.
2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or related roles in a tech-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience working with development teams.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles or experience working closely with design teams.
