Principal Product Manager (Sovereign AI)
Summary
Few&Far is hiring a Principal Product Manager on behalf of a UK Sovereign AI scale-up to own a brand-new Decision Optimisation product from 0-1. The role centres on product strategy and discovery for a data-heavy applied-AI product (agentic systems, ML, knowledge graphs) used for trade-off modelling and capital allocation, working directly with senior Defence/Government stakeholders.
Few&Far are partnered with a Sovereign AI Scaleup to hire a Senior/Principal Product Manager to take ownership of a new brand new Decision Optimisation product from 0-1.
This is a complex, data-heavy product which uses applied AI (agentic systems, ML, knowledge graphs), focusing on trade-off modelling and capital allocation. The MVP is being launched later this month.
Role Responsibilities:
- 0-1 product strategy and discovery
- Deconstructing complex, ambiguous investment decision processes into clear product frameworks
- Work directly with senior decision makers within Defence, Gov, and internally
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience operating independently in highly-ambiguous environments, making confident product bets, and setting clear direction without requiring hand-holding
- Strong product mechanics in complex data products, applied AI/ML, big data platforms, decision intelligence, or regulated financial/risk platforms
- Applied AI fluency - practical experience with LLMs, ML, knowledge graphs
- Eligible for SC Clearance (must have lived in the UK for at least the past 5 years)
- You won't be the right fit if your experience is pure project/delivery management, if you lack true 0-1 product discovery experience, if your experience is limited to websites/ecom/standard reporting dashboards, nor if you expect pre-defined roadmaps or structured processes
