Principal Product Manager

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
As Principal Product Manager, you will drive the development and optimization of WellRithms’ core operational platforms. You’ll partner closely with engineering, clinical, and business teams to deliver solutions that support medical bill review and payment integrity. In this role, you’ll navigate complex, ambiguous problem spaces, deliver measurable business outcomes, and make a direct impact on mission-critical systems. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced product professional who thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and growth. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, shaping product direction within a defined area while influencing cross-functional partners and adjacent teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Strategy & Domain Ownership: Own product strategy and roadmap for a core product area or platform domain
  • Discovery & Problem Framing: Lead discovery efforts for complex problems, synthesizing user, operational, and data insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and design to define system behavior and user experience; Align stakeholders across clinical, operations, and leadership teams
  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct user and stakeholder interviews, analyze workflows, and translate insights into clear product requirements.
  • Execution Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of large initiatives across engineering, design, and operations
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Metrics & Outcomes: Define and own domain-level KPIs tied to business impact
  • Product Craftsmanship: Contribute to improving product management practices, artifacts, and standards; Act as a role model for structured thinking, clear documentation, and outcome orientation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–10+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS or complex system environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ownership of meaningful product areas or large initiatives
  • Experience operating with partial autonomy in ambiguous environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, or data security is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
