Location: Huntsville, AL, USA, Colorado Springs, CO, USA
Work Location: onsite
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and leadership to define, collect, and document deliverable scope.
- Develop and maintain top-level program schedules utilizing enterprise tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Milestones Professional, Jira, PowerPoint or equivalent tools).
- Conduct basic schedule analysis, including variance tracking and ahead/behind/on-time status reporting.
- Apply foundational knowledge of budget planning, financial tracking, and resource allocation to support program operations.
- Act as a primary liaison between technical, operational, and business teams to generate integrated program products.
- Author, edit, and/or compile strategic plans, program documentation, and policy artifacts.
- Develop high-level executive communications, including weekly situational reports, leadership briefings, and white papers.
- Manage and/or process Agency Taskers through the ETMS2 System in accordance with DoW staffing practices.
- Translate complex technical data into accessible, actionable products for business staff, the general workforce, and senior leadership.
- Coordinate and execute workforce outreach initiatives, including facilitating Transformation Working Group briefings and/or working with briefers.
- Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams with diverse educational, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
- Operate efficiently and deliver high-quality products under stringent timelines and operational constraints.
- US citizenship and secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
- Basic understanding of the Missile Defense System.
- Rudimentary understanding of the Defense Acquisition System.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products (Teams, Office, etc.). Understanding of basic Program Risk Assessment, Mitigation and Management
- Basic schedule knowledge required (Note: advanced schedule analysis, such as critical path or Schedule Risk Assessments, is not required; this is not a Master Scheduler role).
- General understanding of MDA/Department of War (DoW) Staffing practices.
- TS clearance
- Master's Degree
- Familiarity with internal Missile Defense Agency (MDA) policies and operational processes.
- General familiarity with Systems Engineering and Weapon Systems Developmental Principals.
- General familiarity with process Improvement, transformation principles, Model-Based Enterprises (MBE), and systems architecture.
- Knowledge of data analytics, program analysis.
