Job Description Summary

As a Principal Program Manager you will provide strategic leadership to ensure sustained customer success and growth throughout the post-sales lifecycle. You will drive excellence across training, professional services, technical support, renewals, and customer advocacy, with a primary focus on digital transformation. This role directly impacts team performance regarding service quality and timely objective attainment. Operating within established policy frameworks, you will exercise moderate autonomy and a high level of operational judgment to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leadership and direction for all aspects of a strategic program and implementation to achieve the target outcomes. This requires working closely with GE customers to understand and define high level scope, project plans and resourcing at all stages of a project or program lifecycle.
  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 8 years of experience in program management OR High School Diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in program management
  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Services & Digital Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • 5+ Previous experience in software, utility, or adjacent field project delivery.

  • 10+ Years demonstrated work history leading cross functional delivery of complex technical solutions.
  • Financial training/education or demonstrated mastery through previous experience of managing multiple million dollar projects.
  • Utility Operational technology domain experience.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $142,400.00 and $213,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
