Principal Program Manager - Migrations
Summary
Senior Professional Services role at Snowflake: lead enterprise customer migrations onto the Snowflake cloud data platform — scoping and planning migration projects, overseeing delivery quality, managing client relationships and migration metrics, and improving migration tools and best practices. Core focus is program/project management around data warehouse, database, and cloud migrations.
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
As a Principal Program Manager focused on Migrations, you will be driving new service opportunities related to migrating customer workloads to Snowflake, working with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will interact hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders on opportunities to improve our migration service and delivery. You will work across customer organizations and multiple Snowflake teams to ensure customers’ applications are successfully migrated, optimized for Snowflake, and scale to the needs of their business. Success is defined by the SDM's ability to develop a quality migration service strategy per customer, capture and report on key migration metrics, identify upsell opportunities related to migrations and Snowflake adoption, and quickly become the client’s trusted advisor on all things migration to Snowflake.
