The Principal Programmer Analyst I will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting custom applications that enable Skyworks’ operations and enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with business and IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Application Development
• Design, code, test, and deploy custom applications for operations and enterprise workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ERP, MES, and other manufacturing systems.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for performance and security.
• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation for custom applications.
• System Support & Maintenance
• Provide ongoing support for custom applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes.
• Optimize existing applications for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, and scripting tools.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MES systems integration.
• Understanding of API development, RESTful services, and middleware integration.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile practices.
