What You’ll Do
Drive Test Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive test strategies across target releases, covering functional, regression, integration, performance, reliability, and security testing.
Build Modern Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain test automation suites using Playwright, Unified Driver, and Reqnroll for Web, Mobile, and REST APIs. Integrate automated test suites directly into GitHub Actions (GHA) CI/CD pipelines.
Leverage AI & Next-Gen Tooling: Utilize AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to generate test skeletons from acceptance criteria, optimizing test creation efficiency and accuracy.
Perform Hands-On Testing: Conduct manual and exploratory testing, validate API schemas, discover complex defects, and build structured test libraries for sprint items and releases.
Lead & Mentor: Serve as a senior technical guide to local and offshore Quality Engineers, fostering best practices in test automation and quality craft.
Innovate & Improve Processes: Identify testing pain points and build framework improvements or process solutions adopted by the broader team.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Agile software engineering and product teams to assess risk, conduct sprint demos, and support compliance and release decisions.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years of experience testing Web and mobile applications in a SaaS environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
Automation & BDD: Hands-on experience with Playwright, Reqnroll/BDD, SpecFlow, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, or Appium.
Backend & API Testing: Proficiency with REST APIs, OpenAPI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and schema validation.
CI/CD & DevOps: Experience running parallel execution test suites and managing pipeline secrets in GitHub Actions (GHA).
Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# or Java applying standard coding practices and design patterns.
Performance Testing: Working knowledge of JMeter for load, durability, and performance testing.
AI Literacy: Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (Claude, Copilot) to generate and refine test skeletons.
Leadership & Communication: Strong domain ownership, proactive risk management skills, and clear verbal and written communication.
