Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with product management, frontend teams, and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and deliver features.
- Architect and implement robust data models and database solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and system performance.
- Contribute to strategic technical planning and long-term system vision.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend systems.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and building large-scale, distributed systems.
- Expertise in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
