Principal Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have extensive experience designing and delivering high-quality software within modern engineering environments.
• We have strong commercial experience with C#, ASP.NET, Azure, React and REST APIs.
• We have experience designing scalable, secure and maintainable software architectures.
• We have a strong understanding of cloud-native application development and Azure services.
• We have experience influencing technical strategy and architectural decision making.
• We have knowledge of secure software development practices within SaaS or regulated environments.
• We have experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practice.
• We have excellent communication skills and can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We have an interest in using AI tools to improve software engineering productivity and delivery.

We are a growing, technology-led SaaS organisation investing heavily in our engineering capability and modern cloud platform. This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, with onsite working one day every other week. Reporting to the CTO, this hands-on Principal Software Engineer position gives us the opportunity to shape software architecture, establish engineering best practice, mentor other engineers, and influence both technology strategy and engineering culture.
