Principal Software Engineer

Responsibility:

Software Functional Leader & Software Developer roles

Main Duties:

Lead software activities of avionics projects

Specification, Design, coding and testing of embedded software for avionics.

Establish and follow up software planning of the project

Coordinate with internal teams the different software activities of the project as well as the availability of the deliverable

Ensure the project execution is conform to the defined software plans

Specify, design, develop and integrate software modules in C/C++, such as kernel drivers for Linux kernel, drivers for VxWorks 653 or application software for system qualification

Expertise in RTOS BSPs used on Mercury platforms, and related DO-178C SW life cycle.

Participate to verification activities when required.

Develop verification scripts in Python

Support to subcontractors in charge of verification

Interface with customer for technical software support and DO-178C audits

Support subcontractors in charge of verification

Provide BoE estimations for SW activities

Education/Experience:

Master's degree in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering
At least 10 years of industrial experience as embedded software engineer

Special Qualifications:

DO-178C, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
DO-330, Tool Qualification
RTOS BSPs for avionics.
Linux kernel driver development
Software project management skills (tasks definition, planning setup, tracking, etc.)
Fluent in English
